Anger

Poorly managed stress and anger that isn’t handled properly can not only be unhealthy, but can be uncomfortable and damage your health and personal life.

One study from the University of Washington School of Nursing studied anger problems in husbands and wives. Researchers cited previous evidence that anger problems and depressive symptoms have been linked to all major causes of death, but found that wives specifically found a greater association between anger and symptoms of depression, while men tended to instead experience an association between anger and health problems.

The 10 Benefits of anger

  • Benefit 1..... Dangerous to your life and health and everyone around you
  • Benefit 2.....negative impact on your physical and your emotional health
  • Benefit 3.....Cause Heart Disease
  • Benefit 4.....Freely gives you High Blood Pressure
  • Benefit 5.....Makes you aggressive
  • Benefit 6.....Donates an abundance of guilt to you
  • Benefit 7.....Keep you sad and depressed
  • Benefit 8.....Causes people to fear and stay away from you
  • Benefit 9.....Can cause you to take a life of someone or your own
  • Benefit 10... Help you win a free trip to prison or worse. HELL...

The first step in effective anger management is to learn how to recognize when you are angry.

Emotionally you may feel:

  • You feel like you want to get away from yourself and  the situation
  • Often irritated
  • Your new best friend seems to be sadness or depression
  • The feeling of guilt consumes you
  • You feel resentful
  • Uneasy and anxious
  • You feel like striking out verbally or physically

Also, you may notice that you are:

  • feeling sorry for yourself more than usual
  • not thinking about tomorrow
  • rubbing your head like a magic lamp
  • playing ball with your  fist
  • pacing like a caged, hungry lion
  • getting sarcastic or short with those who love you and want to help you the most
  • losing your sense of humor
  • acting in an abusive or abrasive manner
  • craving a drink, a smoke or other substances that you feel relax you
  • raising your voice, yelling, screaming , or crying
  • thoughts of suicide
How to over come anger
  • Takes a little time and a lot of work
  • Pray and ask God to heal you of anger and take it away from you
  • Do not magnify your problem  (focus less on the problem or the circumstance and believe God, things will work out)
  • Magnify God as the answer

Anger

Be ye angry, and sin not - That is, if ye are angry, take heed you do not  sin.  Anger is not sin unless it causes you to sin and do evil. Anger is an emotion that is sometimes aroused in every individual from time to time. God's anger arose in him and so did Jesus experience anger...

If we are angry at a sinner, we should feel only pity and anger toward the sin. If we are angry at the person, as well as the fault, we sin. Avoid being so angry that you commit sin yourself.

. Let not the sun go down upon your wrath - Reprove your brother, and be reconciled immediately. Lose not one day. A clear, express command. Reader, do you keep it?

"Be angry, yet do not sin." Do not let the sun set while you are still angry.  Ephesians 4:26

Tremble, and do not sin; Meditate in your heart upon your bed, and be still.  Psalms 4:4
